• Approximate location data when required for core app functionality (e.g., discovery or availability)

We do not collect precise background location unless explicitly required and authorized.

B) Live Session Metadata

During live streaming sessions, we may collect limited session metadata, such as:

• Session start and end times
• Session duration
• Connection and disconnect events
• Whether a session was ended by the Host, Viewer, or timeout

We do not record sessions by default.

C) User Reports and Flags

If a user submits a report or flag:

• We collect the reporter's user ID
• The reported user's ID
• Timestamp of the report
• Basic contextual metadata related to the session

A report or flag is treated as a signal, not proof of wrongdoing.

D) Limited Content Capture for Safety (Conditional)

Under limited and justified circumstances, such as when a report is submitted during a live streaming session, Rare Drips may capture restricted session content (for example, a single screenshot) solely for safety and moderation review.

Important clarifications:

• We do not continuously record sessions.
• We do not capture audio for evidence purposes.
• Content capture is limited in scope and frequency.
• Captured content is accessible only to authorized personnel.
• Captured content is never shared publicly.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate Spectate Live
• Enable live streaming functionality
• Support user safety and moderation
• Investigate reports and identify patterns of potential misuse
• Improve platform reliability and performance
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use safety data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Pattern-Based Moderation

Spectate Live uses pattern-based review, meaning:

• Single reports generally do not result in punitive action
• Reports may be evaluated in aggregate over time
• Moderation decisions consider patterns, context, and available information

Being under review does not necessarily indicate a violation.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for:

• Providing the service
• Safety and moderation review
• Legal, compliance, or dispute resolution purposes

Examples:

• Account data: retained while your account is active
• Reports and flags: retained for a limited period to support safety review
• Safety evidence (if captured): retained only as long as necessary for moderation or compliance, then securely deleted

Retention periods may vary based on operational or legal needs.

We do not sell personal information.

• With service providers who support Spectate Live (under confidentiality obligations)

• To protect the safety, rights, or property of users or Rare Drips
